What is MOLD?

The mold is a mushroom that we can find on foods or in the presence of moisture. In itself, mold does not cause any problems to man so much that it is used in the preparation of cheeses such as gorgonzola… to cause complications may be the ife that are generated by mold spores (ife are elongated cylindrical filaments, arranged one on the other, forming the mycelium, or the vegetative body of the mushrooms). Infection can affect the first part of the respiratory system and cause malaise especially in people with a deficient immune system (Sick, children, elderly).

The mold can hide between the walls of the house and release toxins that we may ingest or inhale.

The symptoms caused by mold poisoning are different and vary from subject to subject; The most common ones are diarrhea, dental caries, seizures, edema, fungal nail infections, eye irritation, unstable blood pressure, hair loss or hearing, muscle aches, fatigue and dizziness, constipation, headache, cramps and spasms in the legs, breathing difficulties, asthma, excessive thirst, confusion, loss of concentration and short-term memory.

Once diagnosed and detoxified by the toxin with the advice of a physician, it is necessary to eliminate the cause of the intoxication, and then remove any trace of mold from your home. Even though it is not visible, the mold may have formed into the most hidden corners of the dwelling: you should also pay attention to small dark spots on the walls, in particular of the bathroom, laundry and kitchen which are most exposed to moisture due to the vapors that are created.

A good habit that prevents the formation of mold is that it often and for a long time keeps the environments of your home: we can do it in a “traditional” way, ie by opening the windows (energy consumption, air quantity almost unsuitable, intermittent action, smog entry, smells and noises) or in continuous and balanced mode with a central controlled Ventilation Mechanism (right quantity Air, appropriately filtered and energy recovery).
