Zinc Magnesium is a coating consisting of zinc, aluminum and magnesium. This composition makes it very resistant to corrosion and therefore particularly suitable for use in the most aggressive environments.
Zinc Magnesium steel is composed of zinc with the addition of 3.5% aluminum and 3% magnesium. This particular composition has been developed to offer better performance in terms of corrosion resistance. The magnesium content present creates a protective surface layer that is very resistant to corrosive agents, making it particularly suitable for use in particular contexts such as:
– Environments with a high SO2 content
– Environments with a high chlorine content
– Environments with a high ammonia content
Zinc Magnesium has a pleasant natural dark gray appearance, with a smooth, non-flowering surface finish.
